Mount Isa AFL finals start this Saturday
A grand final spot is up for grabs at Legend Oval.

A grand final berth will be up for grabs when reigning premiers Buffaloes take on the Lake Nash Bulldogs in the AFL Mount Isa competition this Saturday.
While the Buffs will start as favourites, the competition is expected to be fierce at Legend Oval, with not a lot separating the teams when they are both at full strength.
Both teams enter the major semi-final with mixed lead-up form.
The Buffs haven’t played a game since July 12, following a bye for the Boulia Camel Races and then missed last week due to a forfeit from the Tigers.
The Bulldogs were beaten by one point in a thriller against the Dajarra Rhinos on Saturday, although some key players were missing due to local events.
The winner will again have a decent break, with the grand final to be played on August 23.
One side will be eliminated from the race when the Tigers go up against the Rhinos in the minor semi-final.
While the Tigers finished on the bottom of the ladder, they have struggled for availability for much of the season.
Should they turn up with a full complement of players, they will take some beating.
The winner will advance to the preliminary final, to be played on August 16, with a week off for the Mount Isa Mines Rodeo.
