Not one, but two Toyotas up for grabs in Art Union Prize Draw!
The Mount Isa Mines Rodeo's major fundraiser has launched online in 2025.
Tickets for the Mount Isa Mines Rodeo Art Union Prize Draw are now on sale, with the new board embracing online ticketing for the first time.
Supported by major partner Bell and Moir Toyota, there are two vehicles up for grabs as the major prizes this year.
First prize is a sleek 2025 Toyota LandCruiser Prado Altitude valued at a whopping $99,386.
Second prize is a 2025 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid GXL 2WD worth $50,055.
And third prize? The ultimate Cowboys rugby league package valued at $10,000 – perfect for rodeo fans who love a different kind of cowboy action!
Mark “Tommo” Thompson, chair of the Mount Isa Mines Rodeo board, said the return of the Art Union Prize Draw was a highlight in the countdown to rodeo on August 8–10.
“Our partnership with Bell and Moir Toyota means together we can offer two incredible vehicles and a once-in-a-lifetime experience with the North Queensland Cowboys, all while raising vital funds,” Tommo said.
“It’s another example of the strength of our local community and the spirit of this region.
“The money raised from the Art Union Prize Draw goes back into the rodeo so we can put on the event next year and continue to maintain the standard as the biggest rodeo in the southern hemisphere.”
Bell and Moir Toyota’s Aaron Pulman said the local dealership was proud to be supporting the Mount Isa Mines Rodeo and the annual Art Union Prize Draw.
“We’ve got a long history with the rodeo and we are very happy to be supporting this great local event,” he said.
