Prince elated after leading Broncos to NRLW premiership
The Mount Isa product said he rated Sunday's win up with his NRL premiership with the Wests Tigers.

Mount Isa rugby league hero Scott Prince says the hard work of the Broncos NRLW team paid off as they managed to fight back and beat the Roosters in Sunday afternoon’s grand final.
The former Broncos, Titans, Cowboys and Tigers player, who now coaches Brisbane’s NRLW team, said he had confidence in his players, but admitted that there were times when he thought it might not be their day.
The Broncos led 12-0 at half-time but then trailed 18-12 just 15 minutes after the break.
“I just remember thinking I hope that it doesn't end this way – (Roosters halfback Jocelyn) Kelleher was just kicking the lights out … from the sideline; skimming the crossbar – it was like 'Oh my God, this isn't our day',” Prince said post-game.
“But we train extremely hard – we put them under stress a lot through training and I knew it was for a reason.
“It showed in the last 10 minutes – they were just going about their business.
“I had the confidence in them that they could give themselves an opportunity … all that training put them in good standing.”

The Broncos rallied to score two tries in the last 20 minutes to win 22-18 in front of a massive crowd at Accor Stadium.
“It was a tough game; credit to the Roosters, they never gave up,” Prince said.
“We didn't expect them to roll over and hand us the win
“It was a really good showcase of women's rugby league
“We're just very, very happy that we ended up on top at the end.”
Prince, who famously combined with Benji Marshall to lead the Wests Tigers to an NRL premiership in 2005, winning the Clive Churchill Medal in the process, said he’d pass on his experiences to the Broncos women, many of whom just won their first NRLW competition.
“I'm just so happy for the girls,” he said.
“We'll celebrate … you know, it's weird when you win a comp because sometimes you sit back and think 'Geez, that was just a blur. Did we actually win?' But girls, we won!”
It was a huge day for the Broncos after the men also produced a come-from-behind win to beat the Melbourne Storm to claim the NRL premiership.
Reece Walsh was clearly best on ground and won the Clive Churchill Medal.
